Fall Fun in Paintsville

Here at Jerry Pelfrey Fireworks, we’re all about fun-filled times all year round. And while it’s no surprise that the 4th of July is our personal favorite, we still love to have a good time during the off-season. That’s why we want to share some of the fall fun in Paintsville this year - great for all ages!

Alley Fest 2022 (September 29 - October 1)

Alley Fest returns for its second year in beautiful downtown Paintsville, Kentucky! Nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, Alley Fest is the first of its kind in the region. Bringing three full days of music, food, drink, and crafts!

Join us September 30th through October 1st as our star-filled lineup rocks the Alley Fest stage outside, as well as the Alley On Main stage inside. We can't wait to see you there!

Apple Fest 2022 (September 30 - October 1)

The first Saturday of every October brings with it the annual Apple Festival, located in downtown Paintsville, Kentucky. This year’s theme is “Apple Tradition with a Country A-Peel.” You can try a bit of everything by stopping by one of the dozens of food booths and craft booths hosted by crafters from across the country.

Local Pumpkin Patches

You can also check out one of the local pumpkin patches in the surrounding counties, including Pike, Perry, and Morgan.

3-Mile Creek Rescue Farm (Pike County)

You can find the 3-Mile Creek Rescue Farm in Dorton, Kentucky. The pumpkin patch opens Saturday, October 1, and will remain open each weekend through the end of the month. Bring the family to purchase pumpkins, gourds, and mums, or check out the farm animals, hayrides, and kids' activities.

Holliday Farm and Garden (Perry County)

The Hazard-Rowdy area hosts the Holliday Farm and Garden Annual Farm Days, with everything from a corn maze to pumpkin painting, hayrides, and animal farms.

White Oak Pumpkin Patch (Morgan County)

West Liberty’s White Oak Pumpkin Patch’s fall season started September 3 and will go through the end of October. This pumpkin patch includes pumpkins, two corn mazes, a hayride, a petting zoo, and inflatables.
