In learning the history of fireworks, we know we can thank the Chinese for the original invention. While we can appreciate their efforts, we can’t go without showing our gratitude to the Italians, who introduced aerial shells to the firework world.
In addition to being responsible for giving fireworks the shape we’ve come to love, Italy is also responsible for adding metallic powders for specific colors. Hats off to them!
